Where it all began
The Wild Image Gallery, began as a fun COVID lockdown project. This was before we’d even thought of starting a travel blog. Part of the motivation was to finally do something useful with all of those photos that were pretty much just taking up hard drive space.
Another part was to figure out a way to raise funds for environmental initiatives. In particularly those related to the world’s oceans. Diving and travelling has always given us so much, and we felt that we’d like to give something back.
That said, we are committed to donating 10% of all profits generated from sales, to an environmental trust or wildlife initiative of our choosing. If you purchase a metal print from our Displate shop, then Displate will also plant 1 tree for every Displate sold.
So, if you’ve got some spare wall space that you’re looking to fill, then consider using it to help the environment too.
